Last updated: 15th January 2026

1. Commitment to Accessibility

The Combating Disinformation in the Digital World (CODI-DW) initiative is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including persons with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive, equitable, and user-friendly online environment that supports access to reliable information, education, and public resources.

Accessibility is a core part of CODI-DW’s mission to promote information integrity, digital literacy, and societal resilience.

2. Conformance Status

The CODI-DW website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

While we make ongoing efforts to ensure accessibility across our website, some content or features may not yet be fully compliant. We view accessibility as a continuous improvement process and are actively working to enhance the user experience for all visitors.

3. Measures to Support Accessibility

CODI-DW takes the following measures to improve accessibility:

  • Use of clear and consistent page structure

  • Logical navigation and readable content hierarchy

  • Sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation where possible

  • Use of descriptive headings, labels, and link text

  • Ongoing review of content and features for accessibility improvements

Where feasible, we aim to ensure compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation tools.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations may include:

  • Some documents (e.g. PDFs or legacy materials) not fully optimised for screen readers

  • Multimedia content that may lack complete captions or transcripts

  • Third-party tools or embedded content that are not fully under our control

We are working to address these issues over time and welcome feedback to help us prioritise improvements.

5. Feedback & Contact Information

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the CODI-DW website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
